A smoother Debitum experience
August also brought several platform and onboarding improvements designed to make joining, securing and using Debitum simpler.
- Faster account registration. Individual investors can now create an account with just an email address, password and acceptance of the Terms and Conditions.
- Easier identity verification. We simplified the verification journey with clearer preparation, a mobile-first flow and fewer unnecessary steps.
- Clearer two-factor authentication setup. Investors now receive clearer guidance on why two-factor authentication matters and how to enable it.
- Better organized notifications. Messages and Daily Activity are now separated, making important account information easier to notice.
Together, these updates reduce unnecessary steps and make it easier to understand what needs your attention throughout the investment journey.
LFDF II: the next stage of forest portfolio growth
August also marked the introduction of LFDF II, established by our financing partner Latvian Forest Development Fund as the next stage of its long-term growth strategy.
Our Brand & Communications Officer Ieva Pastare visited LFDF to speak with shareholder Jānis Upenieks about why LFDF II was created, what it means for investors and how LFDF and LFDF II fit into the same long-term strategy.
